Skincare start from the inside. What you put into your body will show on the outside. In this blog I am going to share 5 supplements, including food to add to your diet that is going to help combat ageing. These supplements are easy enough to find at your pharmacy. So let’s begin….

Healthy fats

If you want that “glowy” skin, Omega 3 supplements are the way to go. It super important to help build cell walls, it helps to keep your skin firm, moist and flexible.

Food to add to your diet is nuts, seeds, avocado and fish.

  

Vitamin A

This vitamin helps to keep your dermis and your epidermis healthy. It has healing properties as well as helping prevent breakouts. It is an antioxidant and it hydrates the skin.

You get topical Vitamin A in the form of retinol. Vitamin A is made out of 2 parts – Retinoids and Carotenoids. Retinol is a type of retinoid found in Vitamin A. This vitamin with its healing, anti-oxidant and hydrating properties has the ability to heal and restore damaged collagen. Amazing isn’t it!!

Food to add to your diet citrus fruits, strawberries, broccoli, green pepper, kiwi, just to name a few.

Vitamin B

Vitamin B3 is one of the best B vitamins for your skin. It is also called Niacin – it can help with eczema, dermatitis, rosacea, hyper pigmentation, ageing, dry skin, sun damaged skin. Vitamin B12 could help regulate your skin pigmentation production.  B vitamins overall helps to reduce the effect of ageing – so that’s another one we want to top up on.
